Rachel Wolbers is Policy Director at Engine, where she engages directly with lawmakers to promote startup communities throughout the country to ensure that policymakers prioritize needs of the nation’s innovators and entrepreneurs. She is a veteran in technology policy, with deep experience in government and the private sector.
Previously, Rachel worked as a Legislative Director at TwinLogic Strategies, a bi-partisan, all female, tech-lobbying shop. Her issue areas included patents, copyright, telecom and technology policy, and she led several Congressional delegations to South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive. Before joining TwinLogic Strategies, Rachel worked for Congressman Blake Farenthold (TX), where she handled the Congressman’s Judiciary Committee Portfolio. Rachel received her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from The George Washington University.
